Manuscript Submission Guidelines
- Manuscripts submitted to the 18th APF should be original contributions and should not have been previously published nor under consideration for publication elsewhere. Individual and multiple authors are welcome to contribute. All manuscripts must be
- submitted in English. Manuscripts will be returned if the standard of English is not considered to be good enough for publication. Submissions will be double-blind reviewed. Please do not identify any authors in the text of the manuscript.
- We accept only full papers for consideration hence all competitive papers must be submitted following the guidelines for a full paper.
- However papers that are accepted have the option to be published as a full paper or an extended abstract.
- Font: Times New Roman 12pt
- Margins: 1 inch all sides
- Spacing: Double Spaced.
- Abstract: Maximum of 150 words
- Title: No more than 2 lines of text
- Headings: Please indicate the level of the section headings in your article:
- First-level headings (e.g. Introduction, Conclusion) should be in bold, with an initial capital letter for any proper nouns.
- Second-level headings should be in bold italics, with an initial capital letter for any proper nouns.
- Third-level headings should be in italics, with an initial capital letter for any proper nouns.
- Fourth-level headings should be in bold italics, at the beginning of a paragraph. The text follows immediately after a full stop (full point) or other punctuation mark.
- Fifth-level headings should be in italics, at the beginning of a paragraph. The text follows immediately after a full stop (full point) or other punctuation mark.
- Total length: 7 pages (including title, abstract, main body, tables and references)
- Referencing style: APA 6th Edition format

- Tables and figures:
- Must be included at the end of the manuscript, after the references. Please number tables and figures sequentially as they appear in text (e.g. Table 1, Figure 1, etc.).
- Indicate in the text where the tables and figures should appear, for example by inserting [Table 1 near here].
- Author’s name should not appear anywhere except on the cover page of only main copy of the manuscript (to preserve anonymity during the blind review process).
- Upon acceptance, those wishing to only publish an extended abstracts follow the same guidelines but are restricted to a maximum of one page including references.
